Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians, and engineers.
Creates/maintains product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements.
Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
Develops/Manages QA by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing the QA budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Formulate timely reports and documentation to track progress.
Make documentation of internal audits and quality assurance activities.
Track, monitor customer complaints - Analyse the data & identify the areas for improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferable.
• 10 years’ experience in relative field, knowledge of quality system requirements.
• Having relevant experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing is an added advantage
• QA knowledge of tools and methodologies, 7 QC Tools, etc.
• Certification programs in Six Sigma, Quality Improvement associate, QA internal auditor
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving, collaboration, presentation skills.
• Capability to understand Customer requirements and set/develop quality parameters accordingly.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards
